Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 July 2026
The small print, in plain English. These terms cover how ordering from N&N Clothing works — from payment and delivery to your right to change your mind.
1. About us and these terms
This website, nnclothing.co.uk, is operated by N&N Clothing Ltd (“N&N”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales under company number 12345678, with our registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Our VAT registration number is GB 123 4567 89.
These terms apply to every order you place with us. By placing an order you confirm that you accept them. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 — nothing in these terms limits or excludes those rights.
If you have any questions, contact us at hello@nnclothing.co.uk or via our contact page.
2. Ordering and contract formation
When you place an order we will send you an order acknowledgement by email. This acknowledgement confirms we have received your order — it is not acceptance of it. A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your goods and send you a dispatch confirmation email. Payment is taken when your order is placed; if we cannot accept your order for any reason, we will refund you in full without delay.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where, for example:
- an item is out of stock or has been withdrawn;
- we identify an obvious pricing or description error;
- we cannot verify your payment or delivery details; or
- the order appears to be for resale rather than personal use.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the applicable rate (currently 20%). Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order. Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect an order we have already accepted.
Where a sale or promotional price is shown, the previous price is the price at which the item was offered on this site before the reduction. Promotional codes cannot be combined unless we say otherwise, and each code's specific conditions apply.
We accept major credit and debit cards processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. If an obvious pricing error is identified after you order, we will contact you before dispatch so you can confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. Delivery
We currently deliver to United Kingdom addresses only. The options, charges and estimated timescales are set out on our delivery information page and confirmed at checkout. Standard delivery is free on orders of £50 or more.
Delivery estimates are made in good faith but are not guaranteed. If we are unable to deliver within 30 days of your order, you may cancel and receive a full refund. The goods become your responsibility once delivered to the address you provided; ownership passes on receipt of payment in full.
5. Your right to cancel (14 days)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. If your order is delivered in instalments, the period runs from receipt of the last item.
To cancel, tell us clearly within that period — email hello@nnclothing.co.uk, use the returns tool in your account, or write to us at our registered office. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back. Our returns policy explains the easiest way to do this.
We will refund the price of the goods plus the cost of standard delivery (we are not required to refund any premium above our cheapest delivery option) within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of you providing proof of postage, whichever is earlier. We may reduce the refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
For hygiene reasons the right to cancel does not apply to pierced jewellery or to underwear and swimwear where the hygiene seal has been removed, unless the items are faulty.
6. Faulty goods — your statutory rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, everything we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something is faulty:
- within 30 days of delivery you may reject it for a full refund;
- within 6 months you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that fails, a refund or price reduction — a fault appearing in this period is presumed to have existed at delivery unless we can show otherwise;
- up to 6 years you may still be entitled to a remedy if the goods were not of satisfactory quality when sold.
Returns of faulty items are always free — contact us and we will send a pre-paid label. These rights sit alongside, and are not limited by, our goodwill returns policy.
7. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for all activity under your account. Please make sure the details you give us are accurate and kept up to date. We may suspend or close accounts used in breach of these terms or for fraudulent activity.
Reviews you submit must be honest, based on your own experience and free of unlawful or offensive content. By submitting a review you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the site. We may remove reviews that breach these requirements.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any matter for which it would be unlawful to exclude liability — including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, but not for loss that was not foreseeable when the contract was made. We supply goods for domestic and private use only; we are not liable for business losses.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, but if such a delay is substantial you may cancel affected orders for a full refund.
9. General
Each provision of these terms operates separately — if any is found unlawful, the rest continue in force. If we delay enforcing any right, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer our rights under these terms to another organisation; your rights are not affected. These terms do not give rise to any rights for third parties under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
10. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at hello@nnclothing.co.uk — we aim to resolve complaints within 5 working days. You can also use the European Commission's successor UK alternative dispute resolution services; details are available from the Chartered Trading Standards Institute.
